about

The Tonebenders debut release, digitally remastered from analog stereo masters.

"Straight from New York, relive the British Invasion in '88! The Tonebenders effortlessly re-create that early '60's exuberance with catchy originals that really WORK, in much the same way as Todd Rundgren's "Deface The Music" did. Three-part harmonies, electric 12-strings, live-in-the-studio sound – they haven't missed a trick... these guys should be on AM radio right now, but until then, we have this..." Option Magazine

credits

released February 1, 1987

Douglas Davie - Guitars
Mike Corcoran - Guitars
Mick Hargreaves - Basses
Dave Martin - Drums

Transferred direct-to-digital from original analog cassette metal stereo master tapes, using the Tascam DV-RA1000 Hi Def Audio Master Recorder (24 bit / 44.1 kHz) and Nakamichi CR-3A cassette deck.

Every effort has been made to remain faithful to the original stereo masters. Gentle compression / leveling settings were employed in digital re-mastering.

Thanks to Anthony Liberatore.
